The Kingdom of Kooki operates as a traditional cultural institution under Ugandan law, with a structured governance framework that balances royal authority with ministerial oversight. The Kamuswaga leads the kingdom, supported by the royal household and a network of ministries and departments that deliver services and preserve culture across Rakai District.
